The members of the Port Edwards Public School Community believe that we offer a unique and competitive educational opportunity. Have You Moved

Anytime a current student/family moves into or out of the district during the school year it is important to notify the office. Moves within the district should also be reported. Report your new address within 5 days of the move.

Open Enrollment

The open enrollment application period for the 2015-16 school year is from February 2-April 30, 2015. The application period closes at 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2015. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason. Parents may apply in one of two ways: Online (recommended) at http://oe.dpi.wi.gov. Although online application is recommended, paper applications are allowed.

Students who are currently attending Port Edwards under open enrollment do not need to reapply. If you have any questions related to open enrollment, please call Ernestine Neve at 715-887-9000 ext: 410.

Our Policy

It is the policy of the School District of Port Edwards that no person may be denied admission to any public school in this district or be denied participation in, be denied benefits of, or be discriminated against in any curricular, extracurricular, pupil service, recreational, or other program or activity because of the person’s sex, national origin, color, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability or handicap, as required by s.118.13, Wis. Stats.

This policy also prohibits discrimination as defined by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (sex), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (race and national origin), and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The district encourages informal resolutions of complaints under this policy. A formal complaint resolution procedure is available, however, to address allegations of violations of the policy in the School District of Port Edwards. Any questions concerning this policy should be directed to the District Administrator of the Port Edwards Public Schools.
