The members of the Port Edwards Public School Community believe that we offer a unique and competitive educational opportunity. Memorial Day Services

Riverside Cemetery at 9:00 am in Nekoosa.

Port Edwards Village Cemetery at 10:00 am.

Spring Branch (a mile east of Pritzel’s on Co Hwy D in the town of Rome at 11:00 am.

The Speaker at all 3 services will be U.S. Army Major Erik Thomasgard with local clergy and veteran’s organizations participating.

Please take the time from your graduation and start of summer plans to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service of our country.

Alternative Open Enrollment Applications

For the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year Port Edwards can no longer accept anymore alternative open enrollment applications.


Our Policy

It is the policy of the School District of Port Edwards that no person may be denied admission to any public school in this district or be denied participation in, be denied benefits of, or be discriminated against in any curricular, extracurricular, pupil service, recreational, or other program or activity because of the person’s sex, national origin, color, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability or handicap, as required by s.118.13, Wis. Stats.

This policy also prohibits discrimination as defined by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (sex), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (race and national origin), and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The district encourages informal resolutions of complaints under this policy. A formal complaint resolution procedure is available, however, to address allegations of violations of the policy in the School District of Port Edwards. Any questions concerning this policy should be directed to the District Administrator of the Port Edwards Public Schools.
